Stonewerks creates Firewerks!!!!!

Another successful day at the job, changing kids lives one day at a time. Stonewerks is an amazing restaurant in the San Antonio area that has great food and great service! Can you believe they raised over $11,000 for charities in the San Antonio area, and Boysville was one of the chosen. Every one of our kids were blessed with a gift card to Macy's to shop for the Christmas holidays!! There were many local celebrities including Miss San Antonio USA, a local boxer, and my favorite....COYOTE from the San Antonio Spurs.....he is a hoot!!! I was so excited, I think I was more excited than the kids!

It was so amazing I believe "firewerks" were set off in every child's heart today at the event. Thanks Stonewerks!!!

Incredible Pizza: Incredible Time!!!

I love my job.

Yes, there are days when I am fatigued and drained and I feel like giving up. But then I think of the kiddos lives I am changing and I immediately stop being selfish and realize its about them. I am inspiring kids to live their dreams. I love days when I can just be a kid again and have fun racing cars at Incredible Pizza! It was sooooo much fun!!!!!!!!

Bruno Mars up for 7 GRAMMYS!!

Heck yea!!!!!! That's seriously the only way I can start off this post. I am in love with Bruno Mars music. Yes I am on the bandwagon and I'm here to stay on it!!! What I love the most about him is he is a real musician....no gimmicks. He doesn't have to wear meat dresses to award shows, have Kanye-esque rants (sorry Kanye love your music, can't stand you...), or take off his shirt and gyrate in front of thousands of women!!! Just pure melodic singing and pounding out tunes on his keyboard, strumming the guitar along with his band. He isn't perfect, (he is still awaiting consequences for allegedly possessing cocaine at a Las Vegas night club). The Grammys got it right with nominating him seven times, he is the second most nominated artist this year behind Eminem. That is a huge accomplishment in itself for being a newcomer on the scene. Congrats!!! His album Doo Wops and Hooligans is in stores now!!!
